Aerobatic Planes - JUKA

The JUKA name comes from Jurgis' initials as they are pronounced in Lithuanian. The plane is all metal with some composite fairing pieces. It is considerably lighter than the lightest Sukhois. It is still in development and has had subtle changes to the gear (stronger) and tail surfaces (bigger) than when the plane made its hurried debut in Brno, Czech Republic in May 2002.

This is an even more spectacular performer now that it is fitted with a more powerfull engine (400HP) and different propeller (MTV9
The first flights with the new engine were made in late July and Jurgis was very excited about the possibilities for this aircraft.
